Review

Reading the bid back, where a mistake is costly.

Upload the files of your finished bid. Each is read against the tender's requirements, your company profile and your knowledge base, and each gap found comes with the suggested fix — while there is still time.

The pricing schedule omits the required bid security

The tender requires a bid bond filed with the bid. The uploaded schedule does not mention one.

How to fix Attach the bond to the bid and tick the matching box on the schedule.

The bond you filed on 12 March covers this amount through 30 June. (company profile)

The legal name does not match your file

The form carries the trade name, while your SEAO profile names the company differently.

How to fix Use the exact legal name on the register, as it appears on your profile.

Your earlier bids carry the registered legal name. (knowledge base)

What Offra looks for

What the review looks for.

  • a missing signature, or one from someone not authorised to sign
  • a missing or wrong date
  • an RBQ, NEQ or licence number that is missing or differs from yours
  • a price or quantity error
  • a value that contradicts your profile or your knowledge base
  • a missing mandatory attestation
  • the wrong type of document, or figures that contradict each other

What gets a bid rejected, under the regulation: the grounds for rejection (article in French).

The fix

Every gap, with where the fix comes from.

A gap comes with its category — tender, company, knowledge base — its severity, where in the file it is, and the suggested fix with its source: your profile, or the document in your knowledge base that is the reference.

Questions

Does the review guarantee my bid will be accepted?
No. It reports what it finds; the buyer is the one who judges a bid. What it gives you is a second reading, against the list of requirements, before the file goes out.
What about typos?
Those with no bearing on the evaluation are not reported: they would drown the ones that matter.
Who files the bid?
You do, wherever the buyer asks for it. Offra prepares it and reads it back; the filing stays in your hands.
